Tawang Mangu tourism place is the icon of Central Java. It’s located at about 40 km eastern of Solo as the second of the biggest town in central Java or at about 130 km from Semarang as the capital town of central Java. Tawang Mangu is a part of Kabupaten Karanganyar and this village is a hilly area. It’s taken about 40 minutes by bus from Solo town and the tariff about US$1.5 /people.
As long as your travel there you will find very beautiful panorama. The panorama content the dry field of villagers, pinus tree, the farmer activity, and the Lawu mount at the road side. One of the most amazing nuances is the misty which appear from morning till the afternoon at the area. It shows that, the area has temperature under the normal temperature at about 15 degree Celsius to 20 degree Celsius and 10 degree Celsius at night. The air of this area still very pure, fresh and comfort, it’s really very good place to waste our stress after working in a long time.

In fact Tawang Mangu is a National park. It is visited caused the waterfall and the rainy tropical forest. The waterfall called Grojogan Sewu “thousands waterfall”, it’s more than 50 meters length. It’s very beautiful waterfall and famous as the highest in the Central Java. At around of it, the tropical forest gave special nuance for the visitors, it contents of heterogenic forest and the condition looks like a jungle, in special moment you could see some tree will grow up their flower. The area will colorful by the flowers and make it very beautiful.

If you want to spend your time longer you no need to worry caused not far from there or at about 1 km you will find hotels and inns. The tariff is a cheap enough, only at about US$5 /night for the inn with minimum facilities and US$20 /night for the hotel tariff (Standard facilities). But it’s only for working time and the tariff will change in Holiday (Saturday and Sunday), it will be a little expensive at the day.
